Web Design Contest Criteria
We are looking for sites that engage, entice, and work as a whole, offering a unique and deep experience centering around a core idea. Sites will be judged on overall visual and intellectual concept, ease of navigation, consistency of overall look and feel (and use of color), information design, depth of content, originality, vision, and quality of execution.
Sites will be tested for cross-browser and cross-platform accessibility (this is the Web, not a kiosk or CD-ROM), speed of loading (again, this is the Web), and other technical considerations.
Commercial sites will not be considered for the contest. All non-commercial site topics will be considered and prizes will be awarded in a number of categories. Categories include (but are not limited to): News, Education, Zine, Blog, and Experimental Art.
